Common Name: Dwarf 'Plum Tree'
Botanical Name : Prunus  salicina  'Shiro'

The gold plum everyone loves to see and eat. A golden yellow winner. A very early plum. Beautiful golden yellow variety. Tree is low growing, hardy, very prolific. Excellent for cooking, canning, and dessert use. People who like plums should be sure to plant this variety. Ripens mid-August. Japanese type; plant another Japanese plum for pollination.

Fruit – large, prune shaped, bluish purple, very attractive. Flesh yellow, juicy, sweet, richly flavored. Trees are very hardy and productive, ripening in early September.  'Stanley' plums are freestone European type plum, that is self-pollinating.
