'Common Ninebark' Botanical Name : Physocarpus opulifolius 'Nugget' Considered the best gold foliaged Physocarpus available, 'Nugget' explodes into golden yellow color as leaves emerge in the spring. This color is impervious to the hot sun and keeps it strong, vital look even as it takes on a more lime-yellow tint as the season progresses. 'Nugget' is tightly branched, forming a dense, round shrub hat is incredibly easy to grow and tolerant of most well-drained soil. Small white flowers form attractive flattened heads in early June.. Matures 6-8' tall x 6-8' wide. Hardy to Zone 3. |
