    Marigolds - Tagetes

No other annual, except maybe for the pansy, is accepted and grown by more gardeners across the northeast.  Since we began selling annual bedding packs and perennials in 1986, Marigolds have been the mainstay of our offering and continues to do so today.  These tidy, compact plants start flowering from the minute you take them home until the last hard frost of October.  Their drought and heat tolerance from the hot days of summer is well documented and when you think this versatile plant is all used up, it rebounds with vigor in the cooler days of September, which makes this plant such a popular one with gardeners and landscapers everywhere.
