Lilac

Lilacs are hardy, deciduous shrubs, grown for their extremely fragrant, purple, white, or pink spring blooms. These dense flower clusters are framed by dark green, heart-shaped leaves. Lilacs are best showcased in a border, or displayed on their own as showy shrubs. Providing both fragrance and blooms, Lilacs can enhance any planting scheme.  Do not fertilize heavily and prune immediately after flowering for best blooming the following year.
