Sorry, Sold Out for 2008

A classic country garden flower. Tufts of rounded fuzzy 3 inch leaves shoot into giant stalks in late spring. Produces a long season of yellow, purple, pink, red, white and apricot double pompon flowers startling in moon gardens. Popular back of the perennial border as foliage declines in late season. Often grown against building walls, porch railings or picket fences to support the tall flower spikes. Otherwise may require staking, particularly in windy locations. Tolerant of a wide variety of less-than-ideal garden conditions and soils. Self sows readily and may be grown as an annual or biennial. Herbaceous perennial. Full sun, but takes some afternoon shade.

Matures: 5-8' tall and 24-30" wide. Hardy to Zone 3
