Winter Rye Seed |
Winter rye is usually used as a winter cover crop because of
its tolerance to adverse growing environments. Winter rye is
the most winter hardy and earliest maturing grain type crop.
It is more productive than other grains on infertile, sandy,
or acidic soils, and on poorly prepared land. When used as
winter cover, winter rye is usually seeded at a rate of 60
to 90 pounds per acre. Also frequently use with turf grass
seed mixes as a quick growing annual crop to hold soil until
the more permanent perennial grass emerges. We try to
stock Winter Rye year round |

Commercial Chemicals
|
Our product offering of commercial grade chemicals is very
limited and we typically only stock one or two commonly used
products, like Roundup®. We only can sell general use
chemicals and even if you have a restricted use license, we
can not get or sell restricted use chemicals. Sorry.
However, we have over the years been able to order and
supply commercial growers with general use pesticides,
herbicides and fungicides. If you would like us to
quote a price on a general use product you desire, we will
need specific information and size desired. We do not have
the expertise or knowledge to recommend products or advise
how to use a specific product in commercial applications. We
can recommend specialists in the agronomy field that can
advise you. Please call or email us with your inquiries. |
