Common Name:  'Evening Primrose'
Scientific Name : Oenothera  'Lemon Drop'

What an improvement this Proven Winner Selection of Evening Primrose is over the seemingly hundreds of others on the market. Why is so much better? Plant form is one reason, with deep green, narrow leaves creating a low, dense, spreading mound that stays thick and distinct despite any weather that summer can throw at it. Another reason is flower power, 'Lemon Drop' is a flowering machine cranking out a continuous stream of 4" petaled, lemon yellow, single flowers from May into September. Its constant color, great form, and drought resistance make this plant a no-brainer for any sunny or partially shaded garden that has well drained soil. In fact it performs so well and blooms so much, it's a great plant to include in window boxes and mixed deck planters.

Matures 8-12" tall x 16-20" wide.           Hardy to Zone 5
