Our Selections of Cotoneasters are prostrate shrubs which will also climb over rocks and walls. Cotoneasters are well-loved for their showy berries, and attractive pink or white flowers as well. Cotoneasters have an advantage over Bayberries - no thorns!

Common Name: Cranberry 'Cotoneaster'
Scientific Name : Cotoneaster apiculatus

Superb low hedge formed by spreading branches that display an interesting herringbone pattern with nice shiny, fine textured foliage. Profuse small pink flowers appear in late May followed by an impressive show of large beautiful red berries that brighten the winter landscape and attract birds. Will do well in full to partial sun.

Moderate grower to 3 feet tall x 6 feet wide.     Hardy to Zone 4

Scientific Name : Cotoneaster dammeri

A refined looked makes this quick grower perfect for grouping and covering some ground in the landscape. Shiny foliage is densely packed on prostrate growing stems that mound slightly creating a carpet of green. White flowers show well against the deep colored foliage as do the huge numbers of bright red berries that color up in the late summer and fall. Foliage turns a nice orange-red shade in the fall, giving pizzazz all season long!

Matures 15-18" tall x 5-6' wide.     Hardy to Zone 5
